Colorful Summer Wedding at Madison Beach Hotel
Colorful flowers really make summer weddings cheerful and fun! I enjoyed harvesting and receiving so many different varieties of flowers from the beautiful local farms; such as Dahlias, Zinnias, Gomphrenes, Lace flowers, Strawflowers, and Sweetpeas.
Michelle and Norm were such a sweet couple and especially I was very impressed by their creativity and lovely DIY goods!
Their wedding theme was casual vintage with a colorful palette (below) and different textures. The dusty blue bridesmaids' dresses were just perfect for the summer vintage wedding.

I used many different colors and textures of Dahlias, Ranunclus, Gomphrenes, Scabiosas, Sweetpeas, Zinnias, and Greens for the bride's bouquet, and I added light blue Delphiniums to the bridesmaids' bouquets to match their dresses:)

Having the ceremony on the beach in August couldn't be more perfect! The ceremony was a breathtaking with blue ocean, beautiful weather, and the wooden arch which the groom himself made;) Although I didn't have time to take pictures, there were so many pretty DIY goods at the ceremony!

All handmaid signs were uniformed and nicely done including the window frame seating chart, and I decorated them with some flowers.

We used 4 different heights & shapes of bud vases for the low centerpieces with the colorful flowers. They brought the burlap place mats and candles, and of course the table numbers are also their handmaid!

Michelle and Norm sat on the long head table with their bridal party. We created a 21 feet long garland with Eucalyptus and added some flowers. Also they placed their bouquets in between to make it more cheerful!

It was so fun to design with seasonal and colorful flowers! If you are going to have your weddings in summer or Fall, Dahlias would be the perfect flowers;) Congratulations Michelle and Norm!!
